Jason Robbins likes to talk about architecture. Architecture connects us physically and emotionally. It is deeply connected to our psyche and is present in our lives from shelter to self-transcendence. Yet, despite being the oldest profession we are on a continuous pursuit to understand it. A “Conversation on Architecture” examines the world of architecture and design through discussion and dialogue.
“Architecture is reaching out for the truth.” – Louis Kahn.
“Architecture … is life itself taking form and … is the truest record of life as it was lived in the world yesterday, as it is lived today or ever will be lived." – Frank Lloyd Wright.
A founding board member and Chair of Storefront Manitoba, Jason has a background in theatre and film. He studied marketing and communications before going to architecture school. Jason Robbins is currently an architect with Stantec Architecture.
